Creatures are living beings, usually animals. They do not create civilizations - for beings which form a society, use the Race category. This category uses the This category uses the form Creature. form.
The Creature category should indicate general creature types. Specific creature varieties should use the Species category.
Guidelines[]
Creature names are to be in the singular form.
If the creature is a type of another creature, and has no subtypes, it should use the Species form. However, if it has subtypes, it is a Creature.
What constitutes a particular type of creature - such as Spirit or Fey - varies wildly between games. In many cases, the differentiation seems arbitrary. Do your best. Consider using traits to help define the creature if it unclear.
